- 450g/1 lbs shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3–4 cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp ginger paste or grated ginger
- 4 tbsp honey
- 1/4 tsp chilli flakes, optional
- 2 green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Shrimp: In a bowl, combine shrimp with soy sauce and cornstarch. Toss to coat evenly.
- Cook the Shrimp: In a pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger, then add shrimp and cook until pink.
- Add Sauce: Stir in honey and chilli flakes, if using. Cook for another minute until shrimp is coated.
- Serve: Garnish with green onions and serve hot.
