Description

These air fryer deviled eggs are a crispy twist on a classic appetizer. The eggs are filled with a creamy, tangy mixture and coated in a crunchy breadcrumb topping for a delicious snack or party dish.

  • 6 eggs hard boiled, cooked for 10 minutes, peeled and cut in half
  • 2 tablespoons mayo
  • 1 tablespoon pickles finely chopped, or use relish
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Sea salt & pepper to taste

Breadcrumb Coating:

  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 raw eggs beaten in a mixing bowl
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup butter crackers blended into crumbs
  • Oil spray or melted butter for brushing
  • Dill for garnish, 100% optional

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Filling: In a bowl, mix mayo, pickles, mustard, salt, and pepper. Spoon this mixture into the egg halves.
  2. Coat the Eggs: Dip each filled egg half in flour, then beaten eggs, then a mixture of bread crumbs and cracker crumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
  3. Air Fry: Preheat the air fryer to 350°F. Place the eggs in a single layer in the air fryer basket and spray with oil. Air fry for about 5-7 minutes until crispy.
  4. Serve: Garnish with dill if desired and enjoy!
