KAHLUA SUBSTITUTE:

  • ¼ cup filtered water
  • 2 Tbsps organic brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon instant coffee or espresso powder

SIMPLE APPLE SYRUP:

  • 1 Granny smith apples, sliced
  • ¼ cup organic brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup filtered water
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of ground nutmeg
  • Pinch of ground allspice

MARTINI:

  • ⅓ cup brewed espresso
  • ¼ cup simple apple syrup
  • ¼ cup Almond milk
  • ¼ cup dairy-free condensed milk
  • 23 Tbsps vegan caramel sauce, homemade or store-bought
  • 2 Tbsps Kahlua substitute mixture
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

GARNISH:

  • Crushed ice
  • Granny smith apple slices
  • Rosemary sprigs
  • Vegan caramel sauce drizzle

Instructions

  1. Prepare Kahlua Substitute: In a small saucepan, combine water, brown sugar, and coffee/espresso powder. Stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Set aside to cool.
  2. Make Simple Apple Syrup: In a separate saucepan, combine apples, brown sugar, vanilla, water, and spices. Simmer until apples are soft and syrup is flavorful. Strain and set aside.
  3. Prepare Martini: In a cocktail shaker, combine espresso, apple syrup, almond milk, condensed milk, caramel sauce, Kahlua substitute, and vanilla. Shake well.
  4. Assemble: Fill glasses with crushed ice, pour in martini mixture, and garnish with apple slices, rosemary, and caramel drizzle.

Notes

  • You can adjust the sweetness of the martini by adding more or less caramel sauce.
  • For a stronger coffee flavor, increase the amount of espresso used.
