Description

This Bang Bang Salmon recipe combines perfectly cooked salmon with a spicy and creamy sauce that takes just 15 minutes to make. It’s a delicious and quick meal that’s sure to impress.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Salmon:

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each), skin-on or skinless
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

For the Bang Bang Sauce:

  • ½ cup mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt for a lighter version)
  • 3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Prep the Salmon: Preheat the oven to 400°F. Place salmon fillets on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  2. Bake the Salmon: Bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  3. Make the Bang Bang Sauce: In a bowl, mix together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, lime juice, and green onions.
  4. Serve: Spoon the Bang Bang sauce over the cooked salmon fillets and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can adjust the spiciness of the Bang Bang sauce by adding more or less sriracha.
  • For a lighter version, you can use Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise in the sauce.
