For the base:
- 200 g Digestive biscuits, crushed
- 100 g Unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp Salt
For the caramel:
- 80 g Unsalted butter
- 80 g Dark brown sugar
- 397 g Can of condensed milk
For the topping:
- 2 Bananas, peeled and sliced
- 300 ml Double cream, whipped
- 10 g Dark chocolate (optional)
Optional:
- 2 tsp Vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp Icing sugar
Instructions
- Prepare the base: Mix crushed biscuits, melted butter, and salt. Press into a pie dish.
- Make the caramel: Melt butter and sugar, then add condensed milk. Cook until thickened.
- Assemble the pie: Layer sliced bananas over the base, top with caramel, then whipped cream.
- Optional: Drizzle with melted dark chocolate if desired.
Notes
- For a quicker version, use store-bought caramel sauce instead of making your own.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less sugar to the caramel.
