- 13 (8 to 10-inch) flour tortillas
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
- 1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning
- 3 cups shredded Mexican style cheese

- Softened butter, for greasing the pans
- Guacamole
- Sour cream
- Pico de gallo
- Fresh cilantro leaves
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Butter Sheet Pan: Grease an 18×12-inch rimmed sheet pan with butter.
- Lay Tortillas: Arrange 10 tortillas on the pan, overlapping slightly.
- Cook Beef: Brown ground beef, mix in taco seasoning and refried beans.
- Layer Ingredients: Spread beef mixture over tortillas, top with cheese, add more tortillas, fold edges.
- Bake: Place another buttered pan on top, bake for 30 mins, then remove top pan and bake for additional 5 mins.
- Serve: Cut into squares and serve with guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo, and cilantro.
Notes
- Use fresh tortillas for best results.
- For extra crispiness, remove the top pan during the last 5 minutes of baking.
- To make it spicier, add jalapeños or hot sauce.
- If you don’t have an 18×12 sheet pan, use two smaller pans.
- Remove toothpicks before baking to avoid melting or burning plastic.
