- 1/2 cup dark chocolate shavings (or grated chocolate)

Instructions
- Prepare the chocolate cake: Follow the instructions on the box to make the chocolate cake. Let it cool completely, then cut into small cubes.
- Make the whipped cream: In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
- Assemble the trifle: In a trifle dish, layer the chocolate cake cubes, whipped cream, cherries, cherry juice, and vanilla pudding. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used up.
- Finish with chocolate: Top the trifle with dark chocolate shavings and cocoa powder for garnish.
