Blueberry Thyme Gin Fizz:
- 4 ounces gin
- 2 ounces fresh lemon juice
- 2 ounces blueberry syrup (recipe included)
- Club soda
- Ice cubes
- Fresh blueberries for garnish
- Sprigs of thyme for garnish
Blueberry Syrup:
- 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
- Prepare Blueberry Syrup: In a saucepan, combine blueberries, sugar, and water. Cook over medium heat until the blueberries break down and the mixture thickens. Strain and let cool.
- Make the Cocktail: In a shaker, combine gin, lemon juice, and blueberry syrup. Shake well with ice. Strain into a glass filled with ice. Top with club soda. Garnish with blueberries and thyme sprigs.
Notes
- You can adjust the sweetness of the cocktail by adding more or less blueberry syrup.
- For a non-alcoholic version, replace gin with sparkling water.
