Main Ingredients:
- 6 slices bacon
- 1 pound lean ground beef or turkey
- 1/2 pound breakfast-style sausage in bulk or casings removed
- 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
- 2 cloves garlic, minced (about 2 teaspoons)
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 6 ounces freshly grated white cheddar cheese
- 6 brioche burger buns or English muffins
- 6 large eggs
- Fresh arugula
- Canola oil for cooking the burgers
- 1/3 cup mayo or plain Greek yogurt (yogurt used)
- 1 tablespoon Sriracha
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F and bake the bacon until crisp.
- Mix Burger Ingredients: Combine ground meat, sausage, maple syrup, mustard, garlic, salt, and pepper. Shape into patties.
- Cook Patties: Sear the patties in a skillet, top with cheese, and cook until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Toast Buns and Cook Eggs: Toast buns, cook eggs as desired.
- Assemble: Spread sauce on buns, add arugula, burger patty, bacon, egg, and top bun. Serve and enjoy!
