Brownie Batter:

- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Prepare Brownie Batter: Melt butter and mix with chocolate chips, sugars, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, salt, eggs, and flour.
- Prepare Cookie Dough: Cream butter and sugars, then add vanilla, egg, salt, baking powder, baking soda, flour, and chocolate chips.
- Layering: Press brownie batter into a baking pan, then drop spoonfuls of cookie dough on top.
- Baking: Bake until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
- Serving: Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.
