- 3/4 cup ranch dressing
- 2/3 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup buffalo-style hot sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot®)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 5 cups shredded rotisserie chicken (from 1 (3 pound) rotisserie chicken)
- 1 1/2 cups sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded, divided
- 6 cups frozen potato tots
- chopped scallions, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- Mix Sauce: In a large bowl, mix together cream of chicken soup, ranch dressing, sour cream, hot sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Assemble Casserole: Add shredded chicken and 1 cup of Cheddar cheese to the sauce mixture. Stir to combine. Pour this mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Add Tater Tots: Arrange frozen tater tots on top of the chicken mixture in a single layer.
- Bake: Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of Cheddar cheese over the tater tots. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45-50 minutes or until the casserole is bubbly and the tater tots are crispy.
- Serve: Garnish with chopped scallions before serving.
