Instructions
- Prepare the pretzels: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. Insert a wooden skewer into each pretzel rod.
- Melt the caramels: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the caramels and heavy cream. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
- Coat the pretzels: Dip each pretzel rod into the caramel mixture, coating it evenly. Place on the prepared baking sheet and let set.
- Melt the chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips or wafers in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Coat the pretzels with chocolate: Dip each caramel-coated pretzel into the melted chocolate, coating it completely. Place back on the baking sheet.
- Add toppings: Sprinkle the chocolate-coated pretzels with flaky sea salt while the chocolate is still wet.
- Let set: Allow the chocolate to set at room temperature or refrigerate until firm. Enjoy!
