Description

For the Caramel:

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt

For Coating:

  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup melted dark chocolate
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ganache: Heat cream in a saucepan, then pour over chocolate. Add butter, vanilla, and espresso powder. Stir until smooth.
  2. Make the Caramel: Heat sugar until golden, then add butter, cream, and salt. Cook until smooth.
  3. Combine and Chill: Mix ganache and caramel. Chill until firm.
  4. Shape Truffles: Roll mixture into balls and coat with cocoa powder, melted chocolate, or chopped nuts.
