- 240 ml lukewarm milk
- 60 g unsalted melted butter
- 1 egg at room temperature
- ½ tsp vanilla extract or essence
For the filling
- 60 g unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 220 g brown sugar
- 80 g chopped pecans
For the salted caramel sauce
- 150 g granulated sugar
- 110 g heavy cream/whipping cream
- 50 g unsalted butter
- ¼ tsp salt
- 80 g whole pecans
Instructions
- Prepare the dough: Mix all dough ingredients until a soft dough forms. Knead until smooth. Let rise until doubled in size.
- Make the filling: Combine melted butter, cinnamon, sugar, and pecans.
- Roll out the dough: Roll dough into a rectangle, spread filling, roll up, and cut into rolls.
- Bake: Place rolls in a pan, let rise, then bake until golden.
- Make caramel sauce: Cook sugar until caramelized, add cream, butter, and salt. Pour over warm rolls and top with pecans.

- You can add a cream cheese frosting on top for extra indulgence.
