Instructions
- Prepare the batter: In a mixing bowl, combine self-raising flour, salt, milk, egg, Cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, and chives. Mix until smooth.
- Cook the pancakes: Heat butter and oil in a pan. Pour ladlefuls of batter into the pan and cook until golden brown on both sides.
- Serve: Optionally top pancakes with butter and grated cheese before serving.
