Main Meatloaf:
- 1 1/4 lbs ground beef (90% lean)
- 2 teaspoons olive oil

- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, cut into small cubes
Topping:
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat: Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a loaf pan with cooking spray.
- Sauté: In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté onions until translucent. Remove from heat and let it cool.
- Mix: In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bacon, breadcrumbs, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, egg, cheddar cheese, and sautéed onions. Mix well.
- Form: Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in the prepared loaf pan.
- Top: Spread ketchup over the meatloaf and bake for about 1 hour, or until cooked through.
- Garnish: Sprinkle chopped parsley over the top before serving (optional).
