Description

Cherry Fluff is a delightful dessert that combines cherry pie filling, crushed pineapple, sweetened condensed milk, whipped topping, and marshmallows for a light and fluffy texture. The addition of pecans and almond extract adds a nutty and flavorful twist to this easy-to-make treat.

  • 21 ounce can cherry pie filling
  • 20 ounce can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon almond extract
  • 8 ounce tub whipped topping, thawed
  • 2¾ cup mini marshmallows (divided)
  • ½ cup finely chopped pecans

Garnish:

  • ¼ cup mini marshmallows
  • 4 maraschino cherries with stems (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine cherry pie filling, crushed pineapple, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, almond extract, whipped topping, 2 ½ cups of mini marshmallows, and chopped pecans. Mix until well combined.
  2. Refrigerate the mixture for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to meld.
  3. Before serving, top with remaining ¼ cup of mini marshmallows and garnish with maraschino cherries if desired.

Notes

  • This dessert can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
