Description

These Chocolate Christmas Tree Cake Truffles are a fun, festive, no-bake holiday treat made with Little Debbie Chocolate Christmas Tree Cakes. Coated in rich chocolate and topped with colorful sprinkles, they’re perfect for parties, gifting, or a quick seasonal dessert.

Ingredients

Scale

Cake Mixture

  • 1 box Little Debbie Chocolate Christmas Tree Cakes (5 cakes)
  • 3 tablespoons festive sprinkles, plus extra for topping

Coating and Drizzle

  • 1 & 1/3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
  • 3 tablespoons white chocolate chips, melted (optional, for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the mixture: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. Unwrap the Chocolate Christmas Tree Cakes and place them in a large bowl.
  2. Mix: Using a fork or clean hands, crumble and mix the cakes until a smooth, dough-like consistency forms.
  3. Add sprinkles: Stir in 3 tablespoons of festive sprinkles until evenly distributed.
  4. Form truffles: Scoop and roll the mixture into bite-sized balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Chill: Refrigerate the truffle balls for 20–30 minutes, or until firm.
  6. Melt the chocolate: Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  7. Coat the truffles: Dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate, coating fully. Return to the baking sheet.
  8. Decorate: Drizzle with melted white chocolate if desired and immediately top with additional festive sprinkles.
  9. Set: Allow the chocolate to set completely before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

  • For easier dipping, chill the truffles well before coating in chocolate.
  • You can substitute other Little Debbie snack cakes, but the Christmas Tree Cakes add a festive holiday touch.
  • Store truffles in the refrigerator for best texture.
