- 1 lb (450g) sausage meat or ground sausage
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- ½ cup finely diced onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried sage
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- ¼ tsp ground black pepper
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare Filling: In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté onions and garlic until translucent. Add sausage meat, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned.
- Assemble Rolls: Roll out puff pastry and cut into rectangles. Spoon sausage mixture onto each rectangle and roll up, sealing the edges.
- Bake: Brush rolls with egg wash and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve: Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
