Wet Ingredients:

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream

Swirl:

  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar + 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a bundt pan.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
  3. Cream Butter & Sugar: Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla.
  4. Alternate Mixing: Gradually add dry ingredients and sour cream to the wet mixture, starting and ending with dry ingredients.
  5. Swirl Mixture: Mix sugar and cinnamon for the swirl. Pour half of the batter into the pan, sprinkle with the swirl mixture, then add the remaining batter.
  6. Bake: Bake for about 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Cool & Serve: Let the cake cool in the pan before inverting onto a plate. Enjoy!
