Description

These Cookies and Cream Rice Krispie Treats are a delightful twist on the classic recipe, combining the flavors of chocolate creme sandwich cookies and marshmallows for a sweet and crunchy treat.

  • 1/2 cup salted butter
  • 1 (16-ounce) bag mini marshmallows
  • 1 (13-ounce) jar marshmallow cream, divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 6 cups crisp rice cereal

Instructions

  1. Crush Cookies: Crush the chocolate creme sandwich cookies in a plastic bag until they are broken into small pieces.
  2. Melt Butter: In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  3. Add Marshmallows: Add the mini marshmallows and half of the marshmallow cream to the melted butter, stirring until smooth.
  4. Combine Ingredients: Stir in the vanilla extract, crushed cookies, and crisp rice cereal until well combined.
  5. Press into Pan: Press the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch pan and let it cool before cutting into squares.
