Main Ingredients:
- 12 oz linguine
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Cook Linguine: Cook the linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Cook Chicken: Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. In a pan, cook chicken in olive oil until browned and cooked through. Remove from pan and slice.
- Make Sauce: In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add red pepper flakes, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Simmer until slightly thickened.
- Combine: Add cooked linguine, sliced chicken, Parmesan cheese, and parsley to the sauce. Toss to coat evenly.
- Serve: Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan and parsley if desired.
