- 20 oz cheese tortellini
- 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
Seasonings:
- salt
- black pepper
- garlic powder
- smoked paprika
Sauce:
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 1 1/4 cups parmesan, shredded or freshly grated
Garnish (optional):
- parsley, chopped
- red pepper flakes
- cracked black pepper
Instructions
- Cook the Tortellini: Boil tortellini until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Season and Sear the Steak: Sear seasoned steak until browned. Set aside.
- Prepare the Garlic Cream Sauce: Sauté garlic in butter, then add cream and milk. Simmer until thickened.
- Create the Cream Sauce: Whisk in parmesan until smooth.
- Combine the Ingredients: Toss steak and tortellini in the sauce.
- Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle with parsley, pepper flakes, and cracked pepper. Serve hot.
