Description

  • 1 lb. baby bella mushrooms
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 pinch salt & pepper
  • 4 Tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1/8 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Sauté Mushrooms: In a large pot, sauté mushrooms and garlic in olive oil until tender. Season with salt & pepper.
  2. Make Roux: Add butter to the pot and melt, then stir in flour to create a roux.
  3. Add Broth & Simmer: Gradually whisk in vegetable broth, soy sauce, and thyme. Simmer until slightly thickened.
  4. Finish with Cream: Stir in heavy cream and heat through. Adjust seasoning if needed.
  5. Serve: Ladle into bowls and enjoy hot.
