Description

This Creamy Swiss Chicken Casserole is a comforting and delicious dish that combines tender chicken with creamy Swiss cheese and a flavorful stuffing topping.


Ingredients

– 3 large Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts

– 6 slices Swiss Cheese

– 10 3/4 oz Cream of Chicken Soup (1 can)

– 1 cup Milk

– 1/2 Onion, diced

– 1 1/2 cups Stuffing Mix (Stove Top)


Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

2. In a 9×13 inch baking dish, layer the chicken breasts on the bottom.

3. Top each chicken breast with a slice of Swiss cheese.

4. In a bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, milk, and diced onion. Pour this mixture over the chicken.

5. Sprinkle the stuffing mix over the top.

6. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.


Notes

– You can add some cooked and crumbled bacon to the stuffing mix for added flavor.

– Feel free to use any type of cheese that melts well in place of the Swiss cheese.
