Description

A flavorful and crispy dish featuring beef mince stir-fried with onions, bell peppers, and a spicy chilli sauce served over a bed of cooked rice.


Ingredients

Main Ingredients:

    • 300g 5% fat beef mince
    • 1 onion, chopped
    • 1 bell pepper, chopped
    • 3 garlic cloves, minced
    • 250g cooked rice

Sauce:

    • 20ml dark soy sauce
    • 15ml sriracha
    • 10g tomato puree
    • 20g honey

Optional Toppings:

  • sliced spring onion
  • sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Cook Beef: In a hot pan, brown the beef mince. Remove excess fat.
  2. Add Vegetables: Add onions, bell peppers, and garlic. Cook until softened.
  3. Make Sauce: Mix soy sauce, sriracha, tomato puree, and honey. Pour over the beef mixture.
  4. Combine: Stir in cooked rice until well coated.
  5. Serve: Top with sliced spring onion and sesame seeds. Enjoy!

Notes

  • You can adjust the level of spiciness by adding more or less sriracha.
  • For a healthier option, use lean ground turkey or chicken instead of beef.
