Main Ingredients:

- 1 rack back pork ribs
- 1 cup water
- ½ cup Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce
- 2 tsp hickory liquid smoke
Seasonings:
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- ¼ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika
Instructions
- Prepare the Ribs: Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.
- Season the Ribs: Mix the brown sugar, onion powder, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika together. Rub the mixture on both sides of the ribs.
- Cook in the Crockpot: Place the ribs in the crockpot, add water, BBQ sauce, and liquid smoke. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- Finish and Serve: Brush with additional BBQ sauce before serving.
Notes
- For a caramelized finish, you can broil the ribs in the oven for a few minutes after cooking in the crockpot.
- Adjust the seasoning to your preference for a spicier or milder taste.
