Description

Tender and flavorful ribs cooked in a crockpot with a sweet BBQ sauce that will have your taste buds singing with joy.


Ingredients

Main Ingredients:

    • 1 rack back pork ribs
    • 1 cup water
    • ½ cup Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ sauce
    • 2 tsp hickory liquid smoke

Seasonings:

  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • ¼ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ribs: Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.
  2. Season the Ribs: Mix the brown sugar, onion powder, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika together. Rub the mixture on both sides of the ribs.
  3. Cook in the Crockpot: Place the ribs in the crockpot, add water, BBQ sauce, and liquid smoke. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  4. Finish and Serve: Brush with additional BBQ sauce before serving.

Notes

  • For a caramelized finish, you can broil the ribs in the oven for a few minutes after cooking in the crockpot.
  • Adjust the seasoning to your preference for a spicier or milder taste.
