Description

Indulge in the rich flavors of dark chocolate and sea salt combined with a variety of crunchy nuts in these decadent bars.


Ingredients

Nut Mixture:

  • 2 ½ cups unsalted nuts of choice (we use ¾ cup cashews, ¾ cup peanuts and 1 cup almonds)
  • ½ cup puffed rice

Other Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup brown rice syrup
  • 1 ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 2 teaspoons coconut oil
  • Optional: flaky salt for topping

Instructions

  1. Prepare Nut Mixture: Combine unsalted nuts and puffed rice in a bowl.
  2. Mix Ingredients: In a saucepan, heat brown rice syrup, vanilla extract, and sea salt. Pour over nut mixture and mix well.
  3. Press into Pan: Press the mixture into a lined pan and refrigerate until set.
  4. Melt Chocolate: Melt dark chocolate chips with coconut oil and pour over the set mixture.
  5. Chill and Serve: Chill until chocolate sets, sprinkle with flaky salt if desired, and cut into bars to serve.
