Description

These Easter Colored Deviled Eggs are a vibrant and festive twist on a classic appetizer. The eggs are dyed in beautiful pastel colors and filled with a creamy and flavorful yolk mixture, perfect for Easter celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons mustard
  • 1 teaspoon pickle juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt and pepper
  • 1.5 cups warm water for each color food dye
  • 34 drops food coloring per color
  • 4 tsp vinegar
  • Optional Garnishes: fresh parsley, paprika, edible flowers

Instructions

  1. Hard Boil the Eggs: Place eggs in a large saucepan and cover with water, boil, simmer, cool in ice-water bath.
  2. Prep & Color the Egg Whites: Peel eggs, cut in half, soak in color dye bath, dry on paper towels.
  3. Make the Deviled Egg Filling: Combine yolks with mayo, mustard, pickle juice, salt, and pepper. Fill egg whites and garnish.

Notes

  • You can adjust the amount of food coloring drops to achieve lighter or darker egg colors.
  • Feel free to get creative with different garnishes like chopped chives or bacon bits.
