Description

This Easy Ravioli Sauce Recipe is a creamy and flavorful sauce that pairs perfectly with your favorite ravioli. It’s quick to make and sure to please the whole family!


Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons salted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried basil
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon mustard powder
  • ¾ cup chicken broth
  • 1 ½ cups half and half
  • 10 oz. Rotel tomatoes with green chilies, juices reserved
  • 3 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 20 oz. refrigerated ravioli
  • 1 pinch Red Pepper Flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep Work: Measure out all ingredients prior to beginning.
  2. Melt the butter: In a skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic. Add flour, tomato paste, spices, then gradually add broth and half and half.
  3. Add remaining ingredients: Stir in cream cheese, tomatoes, Parmesan, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Cook ravioli: Cook ravioli according to package instructions.
  5. Combine: Add ravioli to sauce, stir gently to combine. Serve!

Notes

  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Ravioli may not freeze and reheat as well.
