Description

Egg Fried Rice is a classic Chinese dish made with jasmine rice, eggs, and a savory soy sauce mixture. It’s a quick and delicious meal that is perfect for lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Main Ingredients:

    • 2 cups cooked jasmine rice, cold & day-old
    • 1 green onion, finely chopped
    • 2.5 tbsp regular soy sauce or light soy sauce
    • 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
    • 4 large eggs, beaten
    • 2 tbsp vegetable oil or any neutral oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Ensure all ingredients are measured and ready to use.
  2. Cook Rice: Heat a large skillet or wok over medium heat. Add vegetable oil and rice, stirring to break up any clumps.
  3. Add Eggs: Push the rice to the side of the skillet and pour beaten eggs into the empty space. Scramble the eggs until cooked through.
  4. Combine: Mix the eggs with the rice. Add soy sauce, sesame oil, and green onions. Stir well to combine.
  5. Serve: Transfer the fried rice to a serving dish and garnish with additional green onions, if desired. Enjoy!
