- 800 g (4 cups) boiled and cooled long-grain rice
- ½ tbsp sesame oil
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp dark soy sauce
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp garlic salt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
To Serve:
- ½ bunch of spring onions/scallions, chopped
Instructions
- Heat oil: In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium heat.
- Add onion and garlic: Add diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until fragrant.
- Stir in rice: Add boiled rice and sesame oil, stir well to combine.
- Scramble eggs: Push rice to one side of the pan, crack eggs into the other side, scramble until cooked.
- Combine everything: Mix eggs with rice, add soy sauce, salt, garlic salt, and lemon juice, stir to combine.
- Serve: Garnish with chopped spring onions before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add diced vegetables or cooked meat to the fried rice.
