  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 51 to 55 square wonton wrappers (3.5 inches long each)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the filling: Combine shrimp, ginger, garlic, scallions, white pepper, salt, oyster sauce, and sesame oil in a bowl.
  2. Wrap the wontons: Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten the edges with water, fold in half to form a triangle, and press to seal.
  3. Fry the wontons: Heat oil in a wok and fry the wontons in batches until golden brown and crispy.
