- 355ml heavy whipping cream
- 225g mascarpone cheese (room temperature)
- 67g granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 355ml cold espresso
- 3 tbsp coffee-flavored liqueur (optional, like Kahlua)
- 1 package ladyfingers
- Cocoa powder, for dusting
Instructions
- Whip the cream: In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Prepare the mascarpone mixture: In another bowl, whisk together mascarpone cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Combine the two mixtures: Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined.
- Assemble the tiramisu: Dip ladyfingers in espresso and layer them in a dish. Spread a layer of the mascarpone mixture on top. Repeat the layers.
- Chill and serve: Dust the top with cocoa powder, refrigerate for a few hours, and serve chilled.
Notes
- You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar to the mascarpone mixture.
- For a non-alcoholic version, omit the coffee-flavored liqueur.
