Description

  • 225g mascarpone cheese (room temperature)
  • 67g granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 355ml cold espresso
  • 3 tbsp coffee-flavored liqueur (optional, like Kahlua)
  • 1 package ladyfingers
  • Cocoa powder, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Whip the cream: In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  2. Prepare the mascarpone mixture: In another bowl, whisk together mascarpone cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Combine the two mixtures: Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until well combined.
  4. Assemble the tiramisu: Dip ladyfingers in espresso and layer them in a dish. Spread a layer of the mascarpone mixture on top. Repeat the layers.
  5. Chill and serve: Dust the top with cocoa powder, refrigerate for a few hours, and serve chilled.

Notes

  • You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar to the mascarpone mixture.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, omit the coffee-flavored liqueur.
