Description

This Grilled Chicken Sandwich with Caramelized Onion Jam is a delicious and savory meal that combines tender grilled chicken, melted mozzarella cheese, and sweet caramelized onion jam, all sandwiched between two slices of brioche with a hint of Dijon mustard.

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 slices brioche
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 3 oz grilled chicken, 3/4″ – 1″ thick, sliced
  • 2 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp Divina Caramelized Onion Jam
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill: Heat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Grill the chicken: Season the chicken with salt and pepper, then grill until cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  3. Assemble the sandwich: Spread Dijon mustard on one slice of brioche, then layer with grilled chicken, mozzarella cheese, and caramelized onion jam. Top with the other slice of brioche.
  4. Grill the sandwich: Spread butter on the outside of the sandwich and grill until the bread is toasty and the cheese is melted, about 2-3 minutes per side.
