For the Vietnamese Chicken Marinade:
- 1 1/2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 1/2 tablespoons neutral or vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/2 tablespoon fish sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon red chili flakes
- 1 tablespoon cilantro
Instructions
- Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, mix lime juice, oil, soy sauce, fish sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, chili flakes, and cilantro.
- Marinate the Chicken: Place chicken in a resealable bag, add marinade, seal, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Grill the Chicken: Preheat grill, remove chicken from marinade, and grill until cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side.
- Serve: Garnish with green onions and additional cilantro if desired.
Notes
- You can adjust the spice level by increasing or decreasing the amount of red chili flakes used.
