Description

These Hawaiian Roll Cheeseburger Sliders are the perfect combination of sweet and savory, with juicy ground beef, melted cheese, and a flavorful burger sauce sandwiched between soft Hawaiian rolls.

  • 2 lbs 80/20 ground beef
  • 12 pack Hawaiian rolls
  • 11 slices Colby jack cheese or American cheese
  • 1 large sweet onion diced
  • 24 dill pickles
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cracked pepper
  • Easy Burger Sauce:
    • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
    • 1.5 tablespoons ketchup
    • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
    • 2 teaspoons pickled juice
    • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with salt and pepper until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Prepare the rolls: Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half and place the bottom half in a baking dish.
  4. Assemble the sliders: Layer the cooked ground beef, cheese slices, diced onion, pickles, and Easy Burger Sauce on the bottom half of the rolls. Top with the other half of the rolls.
  5. Make the butter topping: Melt the butter and brush it over the tops of the rolls.
  6. Bake: Cover the dish with foil and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the sliders are heated through.
