- 240 g Salted Roasted Peanuts
Peanut Nougat
- 1 Egg White (room temperature)
- 1½ cups Sugar
- 1 cup Corn Syrup
- ½ cup Water
- ½ cup Peanut Butter
- ½ tsp Vanilla Extract
Chocolate Coating
- 500 g Semi Sweet Chocolate
Instructions
- Prepare Caramel: Combine sugar, heavy cream, milk, and salt in a saucepan. Cook until sugar dissolves and turns golden. Stir in peanuts and pour onto a baking sheet to cool.
- Make Peanut Nougat: Beat egg white until stiff peaks form. In a saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and water. Cook until mixture reaches 280°F, then slowly pour into egg white while beating. Stir in peanut butter and vanilla.
- Assemble Bars: Layer cooled caramel and peanut nougat in a pan, then chill until set. Cut into bars.
- Coat in Chocolate: Melt chocolate and dip bars to coat. Let set before serving.
