For the Chicken

- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder

- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
For the Hot Honey Sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1–2 teaspoons chili flakes
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- Optional: pinch of cayenne for extra heat
For Finishing
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- Fresh parsley or mint, chopped
- Lemon zest or a squeeze of lemon juice
- Optional: toasted sesame seeds or red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Step 1: Season and Marinate – Rub chicken with olive oil, lemon juice, and spices. Let it marinate for 10-15 minutes.
- Step 2: Sear or Bake the Chicken – Sear chicken on the stovetop or bake in the oven until cooked through.
- Step 3: Make the Hot Honey – Combine honey, chili flakes, garlic, vinegar, and oil in a saucepan and warm gently.
- Step 4: Finish and Garnish – Spoon hot honey sauce over cooked chicken, top with feta, herbs, lemon zest, and sesame seeds.
Notes
- This chicken is excellent served over couscous, quinoa, or mashed sweet potatoes.
- For a vegetarian variation, replace chicken with roasted cauliflower or halloumi cheese.
