Description

These Indian Tandoori Chicken Tikka Kebab Skewers are marinated in a flavorful blend of spices, yogurt, and fresh herbs, then grilled to perfection. Perfect for a barbecue or dinner party!


Ingredients

  • 400g (14 oz) Chicken Breast
  • For the Tandoori Marinade:
  • 35g (Thumb Sized Piece) Ginger
  • 3 Cloves Garlic
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 1 tablespoon Kashmiri Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • ½ teaspoon Turmeric
  • 15g (½ Packed Cup) Fresh Coriander
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 2 tablespoon Cooking Oil
  • 50g (¼ Cup) Yoghurt
  • Freshly chopped coriander for Garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the marinade: In a blender, combine ginger, garlic, salt, cumin, chili powder, garam masala, turmeric, fresh coriander, lemon juice, oil, and yogurt. Blend until smooth.
  2. Marinate the chicken: Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and coat with the marinade. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  3. Skewer and grill: Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers and grill until cooked through, turning occasionally.
  4. Serve: Garnish with freshly chopped coriander and serve hot.

Notes

  • You can also bake these kebabs in the oven if grilling is not an option.
  • Adjust the spice levels to suit your taste preferences.
