Description

These Lemon Meatballs are a zesty twist on traditional meatballs, with a citrusy orange sauce that adds a burst of flavor. Perfect for a unique and refreshing main course.

  • 300g minced chicken (or pork)
  • 150g potatoes
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon breadcrumbs
  • Salt, pepper, parsley, mint (to taste)
  • Flour, butter, olive oil, brandy (as needed)

For the orange sauce:

  • 50ml orange juice
  • 20ml lemon juice
  • 30ml water
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • Salt, butter, brandy (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the meatballs: Mix minced chicken, grated potatoes, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, parsley, and mint. Shape into balls and fry until golden.
  2. Make the orange sauce: Combine orange juice, lemon juice, water, cornstarch, salt, butter, and brandy in a saucepan. Cook until thickened.
