For the Lavender Cream Cheese Frosting:

  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste
  • Purple food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Earl Grey Cookies: Combine Earl Grey tea, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Cream together sugar, butter, egg, and vanilla. Mix dry and wet ingredients. Chill dough, then shape and bake.
  2. Make the Lavender Sugar: Mix sugar and culinary lavender together.
