Description

A savory Meat Lovers Quiche packed with sausage, ham, and cheese, all baked into a creamy egg custard in a flaky pie crust.

Main Ingredients:

  • 1 unbaked 9 inch pie crust dough
  • 200 g sausage meat, cooked and crumbled
  • 150 g ham pieces, diced
  • 150 g shredded cheese

Egg Mixture:

  • 4 large eggs
  • 120 ml milk
  • 120 ml heavy cream
  • 0.75 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat to 180°C.
  2. Mix egg custard: Whisk eggs, milk, cream, salt, pepper, garlic & onion powder.
  3. Prepare crust: Press pie crust into dish.
  4. Add fillings: Layer sausage, ham & cheese on crust.
  5. Pour egg mixture: Carefully pour over fillings.
  6. Bake: Bake for 40 minutes until set & golden.
  7. Rest and serve: Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • Let the quiche rest before slicing for cleaner cuts.
  • Place the pie dish on a baking sheet to catch any spills.
  • For a crispier base, lightly blind bake the crust before filling.
