Main Ingredients:
- 1 unbaked 9 inch pie crust dough
- 200 g sausage meat, cooked and crumbled
- 150 g ham pieces, diced
- 150 g shredded cheese
Egg Mixture:
- 4 large eggs
- 120 ml milk
- 120 ml heavy cream
- 0.75 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
- 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat to 180°C.
- Mix egg custard: Whisk eggs, milk, cream, salt, pepper, garlic & onion powder.
- Prepare crust: Press pie crust into dish.
- Add fillings: Layer sausage, ham & cheese on crust.
- Pour egg mixture: Carefully pour over fillings.
- Bake: Bake for 40 minutes until set & golden.
- Rest and serve: Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- Let the quiche rest before slicing for cleaner cuts.
- Place the pie dish on a baking sheet to catch any spills.
- For a crispier base, lightly blind bake the crust before filling.
