Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 4 medium over-ripe bananas, mashed

  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans, optional
  • 1 cup Nutella, or Homemade Nutella

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line muffin pan with liners.
  2. Whisk dry ingredients in a medium bowl and set aside.
  3. Combine wet ingredients in a large bowl, then slowly add the flour mixture until smooth. Fold in pecans.
  4. Fill muffin tins 3/4 full, top each with Nutella, and swirl with a toothpick.
  5. Bake muffins for 15-17 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Serve warm or store for later.

Notes

  • You can customize these muffins by adding chocolate chips or walnuts for extra flavor.
