Description

These soft and fluffy Olive Garden breadsticks are the perfect addition to any Italian meal. They are easy to make and taste just like the ones from the restaurant.

  • 1 1/2 cups warm water (110°F/45°C)
  • 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 tbsp salt

For the Topping:

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: In a bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy. Add flour, butter, and salt. Knead until smooth. Let rise for 1 hour.
  2. Shape the Breadsticks: Divide dough into 16 pieces. Roll each piece into a breadstick shape. Place on a baking sheet.
  3. Bake: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake breadsticks for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Top and Serve: Mix melted butter, garlic powder, and salt. Brush over warm breadsticks. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top before baking for extra flavor.
  • These breadsticks are best served fresh but can be reheated in the oven for a few minutes.
