Seasoning Mix:
- 1 tsp Salt
- 3/4 tsp Smoked Paprika
- 1/2 tsp Dried Oregano
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/4 – 1/2 tsp Chilli Flakes
- 1/4 tsp Dried Thyme
Pasta:
- 1 medium White Onion, finely diced
- 3 cloves of Garlic, finely diced
- 500g Minced/Ground Beef
- 2 tbsp Tomato Puree
- 600ml Beef Stock
- 500g Tomato Passata
- 180ml Double/Heavy Cream
- 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 300g uncooked Conchiglie Pasta
- Finely diced Fresh Parsley, to serve
- Olive Oil, as needed
Instructions
- Season and Sear Beef: Combine seasoning mix, season beef, and sear in a pot.
- Cook Onions and Garlic: Add onions, garlic, and tomato puree; cook until softened.
- Add Liquid and Pasta: Pour in stock, passata, cream, Worcestershire sauce, and pasta.
- Simmer: Simmer until pasta is cooked and sauce is creamy.
- Serve: Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- You can substitute the beef with ground turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
- Adjust the spice level by increasing or decreasing the amount of chilli flakes.
