- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup fresh orange juice
- Zest of 2 oranges
- 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger

- 2 tbsp orange juice
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a 9-inch cake pan.
- Mix dry ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Mix wet ingredients: In another bowl, mix the melted butter, honey, eggs, orange juice, orange zest, and grated ginger.
- Combine: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool and glaze: Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Mix the honey and orange juice for the glaze and drizzle over the cooled cake.
