Cookies:

Royal Icing:
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 4 cups / 500 g icing sugar
- 3 Tablespoons + 1 teaspoon meringue powder
- 1/2 cup water + more as needed
Instructions
- Cookies: Cream butter and sugar, add vanilla and egg, mix in dry ingredients, chill dough, roll and cut shapes, bake at 350°F until edges are golden.
- Royal Icing: Beat all ingredients until smooth, adjust consistency with water, pipe or spread on cooled cookies.
Notes
- Decorate cookies with festive sprinkles or edible glitter for a more dazzling look.
- You can use food coloring to tint the royal icing for different colored decorations.
