- Green Bell Pepper:
- 1 large, sliced
- Brown Gravy Mix:
- 0.87 ounce
- Water:
- 1 cup
- Provolone Cheese:
- 11 slices
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Mix Batter: In a bowl, mix Bisquick mix, milk, egg, and half of the black pepper until smooth.
- Cook Meat: In a skillet, cook ground beef, onion, and bell pepper until beef is browned. Drain excess fat.
- Prepare Gravy: In a separate bowl, mix brown gravy mix with water and pour over the beef mixture.
- Assemble Casserole: Pour the Bisquick batter into a greased baking dish. Top with beef mixture and provolone cheese slices.
- Bake: Bake for about 25-30 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted.
- Serve: Let it cool slightly before serving.
