  • 1 Tablespoon garlic (2 cloves)
  • 1 Tablespoon cilantro root (2 stems)
  • ½ teaspoon white pepper powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon sugar
  • 1 cup pork minced

Additional Ingredients:

  • 10 8 inch spring roll wrappers
  • 20 shrimp peeled, deveined, tail on

Instructions

  1. Prepare the filling: In a bowl, mix garlic, cilantro root, white pepper, salt, sugar, minced pork, and egg until well combined.
  2. Wrap the shrimp: Place a shrimp on a spring roll wrapper, add a spoonful of filling, wrap tightly, and seal with water.
  3. Fry the shrimp: Heat oil in a pan, fry the wrapped shrimp until golden brown and crispy, then drain on paper towels.
